    Responsibilities

    We are looking for an analytical, dynamic, and creative individual with a strong statistical background to join our marketing sciences department.  The individual will apply statistical methods to organize, interpret, and summarize numerical data into actionable information used to address business problems.

     

    The ideal candidate will have the following skill set:

    • Foundational Skills: Specialization in fields such as mathematical statistics, applied statistics, bio-statistics, business statistics, survey statistics. Strong problem solving and analytical skills, ability to analyze and interpret statistical data to identify significant differences and relationships in the data.
    • Research: Strong knowledge of market research, including methodologies, statistics, and relevant software and platforms. Ideal candidate would understand and have experience in identifying relationships and trends in data, as well as any factors that could affect the results of research.
    • Statistical Modeling and Reporting: Strong knowledge of statistical data modeling, including descriptive and predictive modeling with ability to report results of statistical analyses and information in form of equations, graphs, charts and tables.
    • Statistical Programing: Ability to develop software to build complex processes and models and to develop applications or programs to use for statistical modeling and graphic analysis.
    • Business Minded: Ability to adapt statistical methods to solve specific problems in industries, such as economics, healthcare, pharmaceutical and retail.
    • Third Party Data: Strong understanding of third party data sources and their use in pharmaceutical markets (e.g., IQVIA, Symphony Health solutions).

    Qualifications

    • Education: Graduate degree in a statistical field such as mathematical statistics, applied statistics, bio-statistics, business statistics, survey statistics.
    • Advanced work on several projects/initiatives that involve analyzing and interpreting statistical data to identify significant differences in relationships that may exist in various sources of information.
    •  4+ years of experience in adapting statistical methods to solve specific problems in industries, such as economics, healthcare, pharmaceutical and retail.
    • Experience in working on analytical studies that involve reporting results of statistical analyses in easy to understand forms, such as equations, graphs, charts and tables.
    • Experience in developing software to build complex processes and models and to develop applications or programs to use for statistical modeling and graphic analysis.
    • Experience with statistical techniques, such as power analysis, sampling, regression analysis, logistic regression, sales forecasting, promotion response/value prediction, advertising effectiveness, consumer profiling, marketing mix modeling and ROI measurement.
