    Medscape, a division of WebMD, develops and hosts physician portals and related mobile applications that make it easier for physicians and healthcare professionals to access clinical reference sources, stay abreast of the latest clinical information, learn about new treatment options, earn continuing medical education credits and communicate with peers.

    The Reporting Analyst, reporting to the Executive Director, Business Operations, will be responsible for ensuring revenue accuracy, ad hoc business analysis and reporting in support of the Medscape Education business. This includes managing project revenue timing and reporting accuracy, preparing grant reconciliations, developing and maintaining a management scorecard to track business priorities and conducting ad hoc analysis as needed. The incumbent will be responsible for working with the department heads.

    • Analyze and maintain Priority Scorecard, working with team members across the organization
    • Prepare business analysis as needed to support Education goals
    • Maintain changes in project completion dates to ensure accuracy of the Education backlog and Workfront - a project management tool.
    • Daily review of revenue log for accuracy of program revenue recognition and changes requested.
    • Resolve discrepancies and/or complete ad hoc reviews of the backlog to research anomalies as needed with Corporate Finance/Sales Operations teams
    • Complete grant reconciliations as required per contractual agreement
    • Support various special projects, as requested


    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or similar years or relevant experience
    • minimum 2 years experience in FP&A/business analysis experience, 
    • Technical skills required: Microsoft Excel
    • Familiarity with enterprise level systems: Cognos, Greatplains, SAP, or similar
    • Experience querying, reconciling and analyzing large volumes of data 
    • Outstanding attention to detail and ability to deliver timely and accurate product in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
    • Ability to deal with ambiguity, work independently, be a self-starter and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
    • Ability to cope with multiple deadlines
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills required
