Overview

Medscape, a division of WebMD, develops and hosts physician portals and related mobile applications that make it easier for physicians and healthcare professionals to access clinical reference sources, stay abreast of the latest clinical information, learn about new treatment options, earn continuing medical education credits and communicate with peers.

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for assisting in the management and maintenance of Medscape’s professional education products sold to US and Global biopharmaceutical and medical device clients, as well as government initiatives – all of which directly impact the revenue growth and market position of Medscape.

 

Key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Support and maintain Medscape’s professional education products across all business units (US, Global, and Government)
  • Manage the integrity of the product suite from both a logistical, operational delivery, and financial perspective; collaboration with sales, marketing, design, editorial, production, delivery, and implementation departments
  • Maintain product-related collateral materials for all departments
  • Oversee and track all product-related work orders
  • Manage customer activity metrics reports and facilitate necessary updates
  • Assist in the financial analysis of product sales and pipeline reports
  • Assist in various operational product analysis reports
  • Train relevant staff and departments on product offerings
  • Research competitive and complementary service offerings to identify opportunities or potential risk to Medscape
 

Qualifications

  • You must have 3-5 years of related work experience preferably in biopharma, medical education/medical affairs, and/or medical education communication agencies, with substantial CME expertise and understanding of current landscape
  • Experience in managing online product offerings for websites
  • Proficient in understanding, representing, and communicating data-driven analysis to various departments
  • Proven success in working with cross-functional teams
  • Strong organizational, operational, and analytical skills combined with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong sense of self-direction and ability to lead and own projects and deliverables
  • Education: BA/BS in marketing, sciences, technology
