WebMD Professional is looking for an Associate Account Manager who will be responsible for the support of day-to-day management of digital promotional campaigns. To be successful in this role, the applicant will need to have good attention-to-detail, be able to demonstrate efficiency in project management, and have clear and proactive communication skills. He/she should be an organised individual with the ability to prioritize and excel in a deadline-driven environment, with a focus on maintaining high quality standards and a strong customer-service mind-set. The role will directly support our Global Account Management team, and the candidate will be expected to help organize and coordinate global campaigns across many developing markets, cultures, and multiple time-zones.


Responsibilities include:
• Project/Timeline Management

  • Creating and managing project timelines in digital project management system
  • Management/facilitation of internal review process using ProofHQ system
  • Daily timeline maintenance to provide accurate picture of resourcing needs so that projects can run smoothly and on time

•Client Support

  • Support for regular client-facing communications –including adherence to client communication practices, preparing and distributing client status reports, preparing and disseminating contact reports
  • Translating client needs and expectations clearly across internal development teams
  • Supporting overall client satisfaction by providing a positive customer service experience

• Internal Team Liaison

  • Meeting consistently with internal teams to manage timelines, assets, progress, and client deliverables, including project brief development, supporting internal kick-off, brainstorming and internal review meetings.
  • Escalating potential project issues and delays to senior team leaders



  • 4-year Bachelors degree preferred or will consider equivalent years of related experience.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience with a combination of digital, agency and healthcare experience.
  • Minimum of 1- 2 years of experience which can be a combination of account management and project management.
  • Passion for customer service and for ensuring that our physicians and clients have the best experience possible
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, responsible and result driven, solid communication skills
  • Excellent organization and documentation skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, task management systems like WorkFront)
  • Knowledge of internet technologies
  • Knowledge of marketing-related creative process (marketing or agency experience preferred, especially within the pharmaceutical industry) a plus
  • Experience with medical/legal review process within pharmaceutical industry strongly desired; equivalent experience in a highly regulated industry may substitute
