    Responsibilities

    Project Managers are responsible for leading and managing revenue generating projects.  They will partner with many internal and external teams, including Account Management, Design, Web Development and Quality Assurance to deliver solutions that meet our client’s needs.  They also manage multiple projects concurrently, with a typical duration of 1-6 months.

     

    • creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
    • identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities
    • manages and controls project scope and the change control process to ensure that projects are completed according to schedule
    • collaborates on the content and presentation of key client deliverables as required to ensure relevancy, strategy, quality and timeliness
    • coordinates all activities of the project team and ensures that project tasks are completed by: facilitating project-related team meetings (i.e. kick-offs, status, internal/client reviews, etc,), communicating action steps to team
    • effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards
    • minimizes our exposure and risk to successful, on-time delivery
    • ensures project documents are complete, current, and archived appropriately
    • effectively communicates relevant project information to peers, subordinates and superiors
    • resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion
    • understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully
    • utilize project management software
    • demonstrates an understanding of a technology/digital business environment

     

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors’ Degree required or equivalent work experience in a related field
    • 3+ years of IT or digital media experience
    • familiarity with the digital platforms and capable of discussing technology with technical and non-technical business partners
    • experience working in a fast-paced Digital or Publishing environment, Agency experience highly preferred
    • proven track record in delivering projects from the requirements analysis phase through the implementation cycle and be able to provide performance measures of success
    • experience and a proven track record of success creating change within teams to increase project delivery competency
    • understanding of project dependencies and risk mitigation in multi-discipline projects
    • use of project management software
    • strong facilitation and writing skills
    • strong communication skills
    • experience with project management software, Workfront or Jira preferred

     

    Preferred Requirements

    • PMP certification
    • experience with content management systems, especially Documentum
