    WebMD Health Services is looking for an Experience Designer to help research, design, test, and deploy our digital health and well-being products. You will work closely with Product Managers, Developers, Quality Assurance, Marketing Designers, and fellow Experience Designers.


    You want to help create engaging digital experiences that could help millions of people maintain or improve their everyday health and well-being. You care about what the user needs and what the interface looks like, because you balance form and function. Obsessing over the user experience from end-to-end is your passion. You’re effective in a dynamic, collaborative environment, by being a good listener and using your verbal presentation skills to move meetings towards group decisions that benefit the business, client, and end-user appropriately.  


    • Create user-flow, wireframe, mock-up, and prototype options
    • Make decisions based on platform-specific standards and best practices
    • Present concepts and interfaces to team members and stakeholders
    • Work with the product team to create functional specifications for the developers
    • Conduct user research such as surveys, ­focus groups, A/B testing, etc.
    • Analyze user data to identify opportunities and inform design decisions
    • Collaborate on an Agile team, iterating your designs on a regular cadence
    • Brainstorm in cross-discipline groups using whiteboards, sticky-notes, etc.


    • A Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication, Interaction Design, Information Architecture, User Experience, User Research, etc. or equivalent experience
    • 4+ years working on browser or app based digital products
    • Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Adobe, InVision, etc.
    • Familiarity with the capabilities of HTML, CSS, Javascript, iOS & Android apps, etc.
    • A portfolio of your work, from concept, through design, to completion


    • A strong background or interest in user-testing is a plus.
