    Responsibilities

    As the WebMD Health Services Inside Sales Representative, you will focus on customer acquisition. This position involves cold calling new potential clients, client business referrals, or web leads. You must be comfortable making multiple calls per day, working with the sales and marketing teams to generate interest, qualify prospects, and schedule meetings for the Direct Sales Team.

      

    In this role you will:

    • Meet or exceed your key performance indicators – both activity based (# of calls, emails) and results based (# of leads converting to opportunities)
    • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails. Collaborate with Marketing and Sales on marketing programs.
      • Liaise between Marketing, Sales to ensure seamless handoffs, successful sales engagements and report generation.
      • Research, identify and qualify potential stakeholders within prospective target accounts.
      • Support data management and database hygiene.
      • Obtain deep knowledge of WebMD’s products and services.
      • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure.
      • Capture all work within Salesforce.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree, or equivalent work experience
    • 2-4 years of experience in inside B2B sales or B2B marketing experience, or, equivalent wellness experience
    • Proficient in Salesforce or similar CRM.
    • Exceptional phone, verbal and written communication skills.
    • Demonstrated success in working in fast-paced environment.
    • Comfortable speaking with senior level buyers and influencers about health care trends, WebMD solutions and book of business statistics.
    • Accountable and results-oriented; Proven ability to deliver pipeline results.
    • Collaborative – work cross-functionally amongst teams.
    • Proactive – analyze and identify areas for process improvement and optimization.
    • Able to operate with unquestionable integrity, possess a strong sense of personal responsibility, enthusiasm and a winning attitude.
