    WebMD is looking for a talaned iOS developer that will design, develop and help test rich iOS applications which are used by millions of consumers and healthcare professionals worldwide.


    Some of the responsibilities will include:

    ·       Implement new features, fix bugs and enhance app performance in an agile development environment

    ·       Design and develop reuseable components using Cocoa Touch Frameworks to be used across a growing suite of applications

    ·       Write extensive Unit and UI tests using XCTest framework to help increase the overall quality of our applications

    ·       Follow established guidelines and best practices


    • 2 plus years experience in ios development using swift and objective-c
    • Bachelor's degree in computer science or at least 4 years additional experience in IT
    • 3 plus years in software development total
    • Experience with multiple application architectures and design patterns such as MVC and MVVM
    • Experience writing multi-threaded apps
    • Demonstrable skills in writing and testing (unit, automation, integration) high-quality, readable, well-architected and efficient code
    • Experience with JSON and XML
    • Experience with version control – Git preferred
    • Ability to communicate with other employees in the company in both technical and non-technical roles


    • Experience with Test Driven Development (highly preferred)
    • Experience with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins
    • Experience using Charles or other proxying tools
    • Experience with scripting languages such as Javascript, Python, perl, bash, etc.
    • Experience using SQL
    • Experience using Cocoapods
