    Medscape is looking for an experienced Marketing Manager who will be responsible for supporting a team of sales professionals focused on growing our Medical Education business.  To be successful in this role, you will need to build and establish effective relationships with our sales team to understand their clients educational, research goals and objectives as well as different ways to bring value to our internal sales members but also external clients.  


    ·         Create and execute on marketing plans to expand global audience reach and engagement in key target markets

    ·       Write persuasive marketing copy and positioning statements for a variety of solution formats (print, web, social media, video)

    ·       Research and understand key markets and needs to generate sales leads

    ·       Work proactively to support in-house sales team requests, include acute understanding of sales process to help with pitch support

    ·       Lead creative brainstorming sessions with cross-functional colleagues to generate ideas for new product ideas and marketing campaigns

    ·       Create highly effective communications for internal sales team to rollout strategic initiatives

    ·       Create competitive materials to respond to industry changes (SWOT analysis, competitive positioning)

    ·       Support sales training efforts

    ·       Assist in management of internally-hosted marketing events

    ·       Prepare regular reports and evaluation of marketing efforts


    Skills and capabilities:

    ·       Strategic and creative thinker, inquisitive and willing to evaluate/change current processes if identified

    ·       Comfortable with presenting to internal and external stakeholders


    ·       Bachelors degree in Marketing or similar focus or will consider equivalent B2B experience

    ·       5+ years of relevant Marketing experience, preferably in a healthcare B2B environment

    ·       Event management experience preferred

    ·       Demonstrated ability to support sales teams

    ·       Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint

    ·       Proficiency in Adobe Create Suite

    ·       Experience managing design vendors a plus

    ·       Social Media exposure a plus

    ·       Estimated 15% travel globally
