    Responsibilities

    WebMD is seeking an energetic and experienced Product Manager to join our team and support the development of our Physician Directory.

     

    The Product Manager is expected to perform all product management duties including ideation with stakeholders and teams, requirements gathering and writing user stories, release planning, leading agile meetings, and post launch product evaluation and reporting. Stakeholder teams include product marketing, design, data services and sales/account management.

     

    The successful candidate will:

    • Support/lead the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative products.
    • Meet with business stakeholders to establish a shared product vision and clarify priorities and requirements.
    • Collaborate closely with design and engineering teams to develop and launch products and features.
    • Be a passionate advocate for our products, and a strong and confident communicator and presenter. Converse easily among business, marketing, development and design teams.
    • Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products.
    • Keep all stakeholders regularly informed of product management and development planning.
    • Be a critical thinker, collaborative, and detail-oriented while still keeping the big picture in view.

    Qualifications

    • BA/BS degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, Digital or Graphic Design, Media Studies or related field preferred or a similar amount of’ product experience
    • 3+ years’ experience in online and software product management and development including gathering and documenting product requirements for development teams inclusive of business rationale, user needs and functional specifications
    • Demonstrated experience in gathering and documenting product requirements for development teams including user stories, functional specifications, and wireframing.
    • An understanding of core web technologies, and how they come together to form a consumer product.

      Preferred:

    • Experience building data-heavy products or content management systems

    • Experience working in Agile environments with common tools (JIRA, etc.).

    • Exerpience in lead generating business environements
