    Responsibilities

    The Associate Program Marketing Manager is an integral member of the Medscape Professional Program Marketing team. This role encompasses creating and managing marketing plans to achieve contractual traffic goals for promotional programs, such as funded microsites/destinations. This includes the tracking, analysis, reporting and optimization of complex marketing campaigns. For the successful candidate, this position offers great opportunity and exposure into marketing analytics and related communications while working in an exciting and highly motivated environment.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Create, execute, and optimize marketing plans to ensure traffic goals are met for promotional online programs across desktop sites, mobile properties, and email newsletters.
    • Cross-functionally manage all internal teams, including business intelligence, project management, and production teams, around tracking and reporting of marketing tactics and overall campaign health
    • Provide strategic analysis of campaigns/creative units via a variety of tools, including Omniture SiteCatalyst, DoubleClick DART Enterprise, custom Excel-based tools, and third-party ad servers.
    • Interface directly with sales, clients and internal teams on program performance. Mitigate risks and escalate issues as needed.
    • Optimize list targeting and segmentation to improve response rates and overall yield
    • Collaborate effectively with internal teams, providing guidance on creative and copy recommendations for promotional marketing drivers
    • Troubleshoot traffic and reporting abnormalities. PM issues through internal and external team
    • Support timely delivery of internal and client-facing reporting

    Qualifications

    • 2+years of combined experience in any of the following: digital marketing, sales operations or related field (i.e. digital agency, digital analytics)
    • 4-year Bachelor's degree preferably in marketing, business, communications or related field, or equivalent experience
    • Advanced MS Excel and Access skills
    • Excellent communication and writing skills
    • Excellent analytical skills
    • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Responsible, accountable and result-driven
    • Ability to function well under pressure and tight delivery timeframes
    • Orientation toward professionalism, customer service, commitment to high standards and accountability

    Desired qualifications:

    • Working knowledge/proficiency in DoubleClick for Publishers (DFP), Omniture SiteCatalyst, Salesforce, Salesforce Marketing Cloud (ExactTarget), WorkFront, Microsoft Suite including SharePoint
    • Experience working directly with a sales team, i.e., sales deployment, sales analytics, sales
    • Knowledge of databases/database marketing a plus
    • Pharmaceutical marketing experience a plus
    • Project management experience a plus
