As a member of the Product Development group you will work side-by-side with testers, data architects, UI designers, product owners and other developers to deliver robust, highly-usable, software solutions with the scalability to serve our rapidly growing private-portal business.


    In this role you will:

    • Provide technical leadership to one or more offshore development teams.
    • Coach and help develop team members to ensure they meet quality expectations and standards required by all development staff.
    • Coordinate with internal and external teams (on site/offshore) as necessary.
    • Escalate issues which cannot be resolved by immediate team.
    • Coordinate and track reviews, documentation, and activities.
    • Lead and facilitate elaboration of product requirements and define acceptance criteria with teams.
    • Lead and facilitate estimation of stories and iteration planning.
    • Implement test fixtures, acceptance tests and unit tests to drive development.
    • Implement software making appropriate use of software design patterns and best practices.
    • Demonstrate shippable quality code to achieve story acceptance.
    • Make effective use of daily stand-ups, iteration planning meetings and retrospectives.
    • Review the implementation of other software developers and testers to ensure results.
    • Provide mentoring to other software developers and testers.
    • Perform code reviews and drive technical design decisions relevant to each project.

    • BS/MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
    • 2-3 years working with offshore development teams / leadership role preferred.
    • 5+ years of web application development experience in .NET.
    • Strong experience with Windows, C#/.NET, SQL.
    • Experience with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery), HTML frameworks (Bootstrap), and Preprocessed CSS frameworks (Sass, LessCSS)
    • Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular) and stacks (Node.JS)
    • Extensive experience developing large-scale web-based systems.
    • Proficient in data structures, algorithms and object-oriented design.
    • Strong familiarity with industry-standard software design patterns.
    • Experience in Scrum or similar Agile methodologies; especially with estimation, pairing, and Test Driven Development (TDD & ATDD) and Agile project management tools (JIRA)
    • Strong interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication
    • Strong and proven leadership skills.
    • Independent time management skills.
    • Experience with Microservice architecture strongly preferred
