    Responsibilities

    WebMD/Medscape is looking for a qualified Marketing Manager to join our B2B Marketing Team in the NYC office. The Medscape Education Marketing Team produces communications and sales materials in the healthcare education market. This role will be responsible for creating and executing strategic marketing plans targeted toward healthcare industry professionals and leading sales enablement efforts such as developing sales tools and training, and presentation materials. The candidate will be comfortable with receiving constructive feedback and demonstrate an ability to take direction on the development of materials.

     

    Responsibilties:

    • Create and execute on strategic marketing plans
    • Write persuasive marketing copy and positioning statements for a variety of solution formats (print, web, social media, video)
    • Work proactively to support in-house sales team requests
    • Lead creative brainstorming sessions with cross-functional colleagues to generate ideas for new product ideas and marketing campaigns
    • Create highly effective communications for internal sales team to rollout strategic initiatives
    • Create competitive materials to respond to industry changes (SWOT analysis, competitive positioning)
    • Support sales training efforts
    • Lead management of internally-hosted marketing events
    • Prepare regular reports and evaluation of marketing efforts
    • Manage team budget and identify efficiencies in marketing processes

    Qualifications

    ·        Minimum 4.5 years of marketing management or related work experience, preferably in a healthcare B2B environment

    ·        Bachelor's degree required preferably in Marketing, Communications, Business or equivalent B2B experience

    ·        Social Media marketing experience. LinkedIN and Twitter preferred

    ·        Event management experience

    ·        Demonstrated ability to support sales teams

    ·        Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint

    ·        Ability to work in a fast paced environment 

    ·        Proactive, with a strong sense of self-direction

    ·        Strong interpersonal skills

    ·        Ability to engage key internal stakeholders to achieve objectives

    ·        Excellent communicator – both written and verbal

    ·        Detail-oriented and deadline-focused

    ·        Resourceful with ability to quickly take projects from idea to execution

    ·        Strategic and creative thinker, inquisitive and willing to evaluate/change current processes if identified

    ·        Comfortable with presenting to internal and external stakeholders

     

    Preferred

    ·        Experience in Adobe Creative Suite, Salesforce, InDesign or experience managing design vendors a plus
