    WebMD is looking for a seasoned, resourceful "can do" candidate to join their growing NY based consumer Client Services team.  The position will be responsible for managing a team of project managers who handle the daily development of sponsorship tactics.  As this position interfaces with sponsorship creation teams like editorial, design and web development, the ability to communicate with multiple teams and inspire others in revenue delivery is  paramount.  

    • Manage a team of 5-10 project manager direct reports who are responsible for the successful launch of client tactics
    • Accountable for the revenue associated with on time launch of tactics
    • Serve as first point of escalation for staff on issues in development or revenue forecasting
    • Support Client Services leadership in efforts to ensure flawless project execution and continuous improvement through analysis and enforcement of best practices and work processes
    • Attend their project meetings as requested or as needed
    • Conduct one-on-one meetings with each project manager team member
    • Conduct regular PM Team Meetings to discuss new procedures, technical advances, financial developments, re-visit training or to update team on new projects
    • Provide on-going training in project management techniques and facilitate on-going technical and financial learning for team
    • Represent PM Team in cross-functional meetings to ensure successful project development, work flow and revenue recognition
    • Ensure adherence to agreed upon SLA’s among internal departments and lead ongoing efforts to optimize and improve internal timeline templates
    • Lead team in revenue forecasting bi-weekly meetings with finance
    • Work in a variety of systems to pull information for leadership related to revenue delivery
    • Provide process development leadership to resolve issues with current processes and to help develop new capabilities when necessary
    • Lead efforts to solve complex problems that arise on projects including custom requests, accelerations and quality assurance issues
    • Meet regularly with other department heads to ensure constant feedback on performance of PM team, identifying areas for improvement on an individual basis or as a whole



    • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in pharmaceutical or CPG marketing to physicians or consumers in an agency or related position
    • Substantial experience in managing large scale promotional campaigns utilizing multiple distribution channels
    • Demonstrated track record of leading the resolution of complex issues that arise in the development, launch and post-launch monitoring of marketing tactics
    • Substantial technical experience enabling the operationalization of timelines for the development of promotional tactics
    • People management experience, with at least 3 years of leadership responsibility
    • A strong teammate who can work well with Account Management, Ad Ops, Content/Design, Web Development and Publishing colleagues and partners who can match technical capabilities to client needs
    • Ability to work independently, prioritize and manage multiple projects from inception to completion, and manage multiple deadlines between cross functional teams
    • Self-motivated with the ability to lead project teams and programs with minimal guidance from leadership
    • Ability to adapt to the changing needs of the Account Management and Sales Teams
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills and strong interpersonal skills
    • Excellent teamwork and leadership skills
    • Strong time management and organizational skills
    • Strong business acumen, including industry-specific knowledge of customers and technical operations for digital promotion

    • Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint – required


    • Workfront, JIRA, SharePoint experience a plus
