    We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance analyst to join our team.  You will work side-by-side with developers, product owners and other testers to deliver robust, highly-usable, software solutions with the scalability to serve our rapidly growing private health portal business.  An ideal candidate for this position can jump in to our on-going projects and come up to speed quickly, exercising independent judgment to make the best use of his or her time. We expect excellent knowledge of software testing practices and prior experience working cross-functionally using agile methodologies. 


    Major Responsibilities

    • Elaborate and define acceptance criteria with team.
    • Estimate tasks (e.g., using planning poker) to facilitate iteration planning.
    • Determine how to test new product and system features. This includes web applications, web services, and system services.
    • Perform exploratory testing.
    • Collaborate with the team to define and build testing tools and test automation.
    • Document test cases that are useful for regressions.
    • Demonstrate new features for stake holder acceptance.
    • Perform root cause analysis for failures


    • 3+ years testing web applications that include experience with high-volume public-facing secure sites.
    • BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
    • Strong testing skills, proven by a track record of success.
    • Substantial knowledge of software testing processes and best practices.
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently and think creatively.
    • Strong interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication.
    • Thorough knowledge of SQL.
    • Scripting (e.g. PowerShell).
    • Some experience writing software in a high-level language (e.g. JavaScript, C#, Java, Ruby, etc.).


    • Experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment.
    • Working knowledge of tools like Jira, Confluence, Git / Bitbucket.
    • Exposure to Selenium or other application testing framework.
    • Background in processing and storing large volumes of health care data.
