    The Senior Manager Finance will play a critical role in overseeing the coordination and execution of business planning, forecasting and other corporate financial requirements for one of WebMD’s business segments


    Oversee the analysis of financial and operational metrics to evaluate past and future performance


    Communicate with all levels of management to gather, analyze and summarize financial information

    Lead a Quarterly Business Review process with business leadership and executive management

    Coordinate the preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts

    Collaborate with the Company's Accounting team for month-end and quarter-end close reporting and analyze results and variances


    Provide Management with financial results on a monthly and quarterly basis including analysis on sales, revenue, costs, and key productivity metrics


    Produce and distribute monthly / quarterly reporting packages to Executive Leadership as well as department managers 


    Implement changes to enhance management reporting and analysis, support business intelligence initiatives and process improvement


    Partner with business teams to define, track, and analyze key performance metrics


    Participate in special projects and ad-hoc analysis (cost management or profitability analysis)


    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. 
    • 10+ years of finance or accounting experience.
    • Demonstrated success leading finance and accounting team members while providing strong leadership in support and partnership to a complex business.
    • Strong financial planning and business analysis 
    • Excellent Excel and modeling skills
    • Able to effectively manage projects; results oriented and able to roll-up the sleeves in order to accomplish necessary tasks  
    • Self-starter with proven ability to work autonomously as well as within a cross-functional team  
    • Proven ability to work effectively in fast paced, deadline oriented environment

    • Public Accounting experience
