Medscape Education is seeking a motivated, adaptable, team-oriented Associate Program Manager to support our CME department. By joining Medscape Education, the leading provider of online medical education for clinicians (medscape.org), you will work with members of the CME department and with other talented team members across multiple departments to ensure activities comply with all of the accreditation requirements and are of the highest quality.     WHAT YOU’LL DO

    • Assist the CME Department with maintaining accreditations by ensuring compliance in our activities and overall CME program
    • Assist in ensuring Accreditation Activity Files contain all required documentation
    • Processing, assigning, and returning CME/CE activity reviews
    • Review activities on the Staging site and approve activities to post on the Live site
    • Use our web-based project management tool to ensure processes are followed and reviews and postings are on time
    • Register physician, nurse, pharmacist, and physician assistant activities in the Joint Accreditation Program and Activity Reporting System (PARS)
    • Register and update MOC (maintenance of certification) activities in PARS
    • Communicate potential issues or compliance concerns and work with Program Managers, Scientific Directors, CME/CE Reviewers and other departments to address and overcome any issues
    • Input CME project-related expenses for activities as needed
    • Serve as a CME Department contact for external partners for monthly Provider Reports and liaison between Medscape’s data department and other Providers to address their reporting and technical questions
    • Complete other responsibilities or projects, as assigned

    WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

    • Bachelor Degree required or equivalent years of experience
    • Minimum of two years’ project and process management experience required; within the healthcare environment or medical education environment strongly preferred
    • High professionalism, ability to work independently, and easy rapport in building collaborative work relationships
    • Outstanding time management and organizational skills
    • Ability to provide creative solutions independently or within a team dynamic as issues arise  
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Above average ability to use Microsoft Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
    • Experience with web-based document sharing sites (such as Box) and web-based project management tools (such as Workfront) a plus

     

    PREFFERRED

    • Knowledge of CME/CE accreditation rules desirable, CHCP certification a plus
    • Program Management experience within the healthcare environment or medical education environment strongly preferred
    • Experience with web-based document sharing sites (such as Box) and web-based project management tools (such as Workfront) a plus
